Nobbi wins FNL for the third time!
June 14th, 2008 at 10:23pm, EST, by Ridge Rogue
Here's a summary of FNL. There are just 5 more weeks of this rubbish to go, thankfully. I hope FNL gets axed after this year; because there really is no need to have this crap now. Anyway, Terrence has had a sore neck since before he entered the house. He sat out tonight's games on "medical advice" (in other words legal advice because ESS doesn't want another Rima situation). The HMs were dressed as black cats because the theme was Friday the 13th. They split into two teams. These were: Rory, Bianca, Travis, Rhianna and Ben in one team and Brigitte, Alice, Terri, Nobbi and Cherry the Rhianna hater in the other team. Ben and Nobbi were the captains, not that this really is used for anything still after all these years of FNL.
Round 1: The pinch assault course
The first round saw the teams "riding" on a long broom through an obstacle course. The obstacles to pass included walking under ladders; around large salt shakers; through a broken mirror; through a large horseshoe; under green balloons representing a four-leaved clover (that they had to burst) and then they had to stand under umbrellas they each picked up, opened and placed over their head. Ben's team went first and completed the course in 2 minutes and 10 seconds. The second heat after the ad break saw the other team complete the course in 1 minute and 55 seconds. There were no hilarious mishaps to report in this round or the rest for the night for that matter.
The losing team "competed" for one spot back in the games. All they had to do was stand on red discs. Underneath four of them was the number 13, while one had the number 7. The person standing on the number 7 was back in the games. That person was Rory. He joined the other HMs that were still in the games and they all split into two teams. These were: Cherry, Alice and Brigitte in one team and Nobbi, Terri and Rory in the other team.
Round 2: Freddy vs Jason
The second round involved teams competing to knock each other off a slippery pole spread across the foam mats below. This was a recycled game from previous years, so all I'll say to explain it is that one person just had to be at the other end of the pole, or close to it, to win for their team. Members of one team wore Jason Voorhees masks and the other Freddy Kruger hats. I'm sure I've offered this same commentary in at least one previous year, because it sounds familiar, but I'm too lazy to check this site's archive of that, so I will cut to the chase and say that it ended in a draw and Rory and Cherry had to compete in a tie-breaker. Cherry won. There wasn't as many thrills and spills this time like there were when this game was used before in other years on FNL.
Losing HMs so far were given a chance to scream into a decibel reader for 3 spots back in the games. The readings were: Rory: 103.3db; Nobbi: 122.1db; Rhianna: 106.5db; Ben: 110.5db; Bianca: 112.3db; Travis: 115.1db and Terri: 118.1db. Obviously, Nobbi, Terri and Travis were back in the games. The HMs then split into two teams and these were: Cherry, Alice and Terri in one team and Nobbi, Brigitte and Travis in the other team.
Round 3: Monster Munch
This is a recycled game from previous years. All the teams had to do was make up a "Madonna Kebab". One team member wore a blonde wig, representing Mads, and the other two just had to grab salad items (fake) and sauces to spread over the Madonna HM lying on a piece of pita bread (fake). They then had to roll or drag the kebab to a likeness of Marty the monster and stick it through his mouth. Cherry's team did it in 1:28 and Nobbi's team took 1:22.
Round 4: 13 pin evil penguin bowling
This was a recycled game from previous years that was altered accordingly (like they all have been this year, but still recycled anyway). Each HM had two turns at sliding down the slippery surface on an inflatable donut. At the end were large inflatable penguins that the HMs had to knock over (as in ten-pin bowling) to score points (1 point for each penguin). The HM that scored the least number of points from both slides would be out of the games. Nobbi went first and scored 11 points. Travis then scored 9 points. Brigitte could only score 8 points and kicked one of the penguins in annoyance. She was out of the games.
Round 5: Mean cuisine
Each HM had 10 seconds to eat wasabi and 30 seconds to eat each of the other assorted rubbish you'd never try (sheep's brains, ox tongue, bull's balls, fish eyes). Success in each tempting meal scored 1 point. Nobbi did well, but he swallowed everything whole instead of chewing (a good trick). Nobbi ended up with 5 points and Travis scored 3 points (he couldn't handle the last two items). So, Nobbi wins again (his third time this year). There was no booing from the FNL audience this time - probably because they and the hosts had turned on Cherry earlier in the show (because he hates Rhianna for being a useless type of person with no personality).
When asked by BB in the Diary Room how he felt, Nobbi replied that the "balls didn't go down too well". Travis, Rory and Ben were chosen by Nobbi to go with him to the BB cinema (the old Strategy Room) to watch Adam Sandler's latest movie (that Zohan crap). Next week is heavy metal night on FNL. Before that, though, the game really begins on Sunday when, according to the promos, BB reveals how the HMs are going to earn the winner's prize money. I'm Ridge Rogue. Say hi to your girlfriend for me :) See you here Sunday night!
Happy 21st Birthday for today, Brigitte!
Intruders and Alice nominated!
June 10th, 2008 at 02:33am, EST, by Ridge Rogue
In this brief update, I'd like to crap on a bit about the eviction nominations and Big Mouth last night. On the daily show yesterday, we saw that this week's task is the Big Brother Salon task. The HMs give each other haircuts (or their wigs at least). This would be a perfect opportunity to have Vesna (BB5) as a guest and a judge (she's a hairdresser by trade). The eviction nominees were the intruders and Nobbi. He saved himself and Alice came up into the list. Some of them voted for each other because they are boring. This is just further proof that if the HMs think that themselves, then the public is right that this cast was a flop.
On Big Mouth, Bianca was seen saying that men cooking and cleaning is a turn off, unless they're naked, wearing an apron (I'll have to try that myself one of these days). Footage was shown of Nobbi's big discussion with Terri about masturbating and lactating, and there was an expert on the panel talking about Nobbi not being capable of getting himself out of fights he gets himself into. Renee joined the panel for a bit and she got the Best Bum award (photo in forum). Oh and they showed Rory naked and Terrence shoving the soap up his ass in the shower. Deeeesgusting!! I imagine that the wowsers will kick up quite a stink about that episode of BM this week.
Eviction ratings woes and panic attacks
June 9th, 2008 at 2:25pm, EST, by Ridge Rogue
Network Ten swears today that King Kyle will be back on Sunday but will it help in the ratings? The eviction show saw only 813 000 viewers tune in last night. Plenty of people at the official site's forum believe that Mike should continue to co-host, but the ratings don't seem to support the idea. The ratings were one of the lowest ever for an eviction show. It could have something to do with the long weekend but, in any case, the figures are down more than 300 000 people on each of the last two years, for example, at this point in the series.
Obviously the hosting is part of the problem, also. There is a News Ltd story today that said that Jackie O had a mild panic attack last week about criticism of the hosting of BB. It all just shows that no one can match Gorgeous Gretel and I feel very vindicated in my support of her over the last 7 years, especially now that even her moronic critics are calling for her to return. Good old BB Chaos is still getting the last laugh, as always. I was always criticised for my faithful support of Gretel and I'm the one laughing now and it feels good. I don't mind the Grim Reaper of Australian TV (Jackie) hosting this show, by the way, but Kyle has been very tame and that's the problem. Who's your daddy now, Gretel critics? Fu**wits!!!
Renee evicted!
June 8th, 2008 at 11:34pm, EST, by Ridge Rogue
This update is a brief summary of the daily and eviction shows tonight. The daily show offered footage of the spa turmoil aftermath. On Friday morning, Nobbi explained to BB that he was surprised that Travis didn't have the "mental capability as 20-year-old adult" to handle being put on the spot like he was on Thursday night - when Nobbi asked him whom he disliked the most (after telling him before that Alice hates him when she doesn't).
Nobbi then went to Travis to talk and soon explained to Alice that he thinks she sugar coats situations and is strategic. That's what I thought the story was but we haven't seen enough proof (or at least I haven't). So they argued again and soon enough BB called Nobbi back in to the Diary Room to tell him to "stop it" (with his bullying). BB mentioned the "cumulative affect" and acknowledged that Nobbi knows he's bullying Travis but BB didn't give him a strike. Although I like Nobbi, I'm not impressed with his bullying and I think the situation warrants two strikes (but BB is too weak to bother). That was all just before lockdown before FNL.
Later in the evening, the "reward" Nobbi received to stay in the other house was actually a city dump setting. There was rubbish galore there and he couldn't believe his bad luck (that he won this after so many other cursed occurrences he's experienced over the last six weeks). Meanwhile, the next day the HMs in the main house had a brief farewell with Ollie who has departed to continue his training with professionals. He is 12 weeks old and there was a party for him. After that, some bikers rode into the yard as part of the task.
So, after one week of fireworks; bagpipe players; a marching band; $2000 in free cash that Bianca took; a guy in the Diary Room chair dressed as Santa when Brigitte went there; bikini clad meter maids and more this week, the HMs obviously failed to ignore the obvious as part of their weekly task. BB announced that they failed. They will live on staples this week.
Moving on and the eviction show process has started to follow something similar to previous years. The eviction nominees were each called to the Diary Room for a chat to the hosts. Some family members were also invited to the stage to chat to the hosts (well, Renee's mother and Bianca's brother at least). The audience booed Bianca just before the hosts chatted to her in the Diary Room but she didn't hear it because BB was only calling her to come to the Diary Room. Mike told the audience not to boo during the chat. This is a departure from what Kyle wanted to do this year (let them boo).
When the announcement came, Terri was announced as safe and then Brigitte (to boos from the audience). The evictee was announced after the ad break and it was Renee. Thank God for that! Bianca could've gone but the votes were 37.9% for Renee and much less for the others. Ben was heard to ask everyone "what are they showing" indicating that even they were stunned. During the chat between the hosts and Renee, some footage was shown of a nudie run that Renee did over the weekend. I can't believe they showed that at that timeslot but she had used her hands to cover her privates (but her ass was visible).
Jackie asked Renee what she thought of the whole fight during the week, and she had also asked Bianca's brother about Bianca being uncomfortable with large boobs (he said she gets treated differently to what she wants). So that was the big topic of the night. And that is all that needs to be said really about the eviction show.
Nobbi wins FNL! A summary of the games and Nobbi controversy.
June 8th, 2008 at 6:05pm, EST, by Ridge Rogue
The controversy surrounding the bully of BB
This week has been a slightly controversial one in that BB's resident bully, Nobbi, has done a Michael (BB6) by trying to push the boundaries a bit for our entertainment. As if last week's tile cleaner in the eye incident wasn't enough for Travis to contend with (and Nobbi giving him a bizarre haircut the previous week), Nobbi has become the equivalent of Gossip Girl this week by spreading rumours based on what Alice said earlier - about Travis being someone she wouldn't associate with in reality (Nobbi and the fellas told him that she said she hates him - a total lie).
It left Travis and Alice in tears on Thursday night during the relaxing spa session of Truth or Dare, and the hosts of FNL calling Nobbi a rat and more, while several times the audience was blatantly told to boo him (with the hosts trying to feign innocence by making it appear the audience did it naturally). Although Nobbi has bullied Travis since day one, BB could not do much about it like he could in previous years, because the rules are more relaxed (the HMs continue to communicate with people on the outside by saying hi to them during FNL - that's another example).
Sure Nobbi is a product of his upbringing in a foreign country where he struggled for acceptance until now - where he is the temporary king of his own lunchtime on BB (until he gets back out into the real world again, where he is back at the game of struggle for acceptance again). But it has left countless armchair "experts" diagnosing him as being a complete nutcase. I don't believe that this is the case. The public forgets that Nobbi was like Travis once (the guy that was always laughed at because, in his case, he couldn't speak a word of English and looked different. I'm not making excuses for him, because obviously I believe he is doing what he is doing for his own perverse entertainment, but it's more than that.
I think what Nobbi has done is not just bullying in a way that wouldn't have previously been acceptable on this show, but it's also a strategic move to get the public to see Alice for what he thinks she is (as well as for his own benefit). It's his hope that she'll get the boot soon enough if his campaign continues (to break up the Travis-gets-his-strength-from-Alice situation). But in doing this, he is also helping Travis to win more public support than ever before, in a cruel to be kind way.
I really think Nobbi believes he has it in him to hand this series to Travis (through manipulation) so that the two of them can play the whole "See? Rejects can win!" card (without Alice's help). He knows racist Aussies won't vote for him because they'd see him as another Trevor (BB 4) - an entertaining guy of another race that has won BB - so the viewers would want to try for a different winner this time (like Travis - there's never been anyone like him on BB).
I suspect that he even thinks Travis might be silly enough to avoid nominating him until near the end of the series if he's still there. It might be wishful thinking. As an aside, whether Travis does go on to win or not, I just hope that, like Rima with her leg, if there's permanent damage to Travis's eye, he sues the production company. Like I said with Rima, they've failed in their duty of care with Travis. But anyway, with all that about Travis in mind, you can just imagine what Gretel Killeen would say to Nobbi at his eviction, if she was still hosting this show. She'd probably go off at Rory for being like Glenn (BB 5), just the same. And which HM would she support at their eviction? Travis, of course - just like Jackie is now.
Everyone loves Travis. Even our betting partner, SportingBet says that Travis is still the favourite, with the top 5 being Travis, Rory, Renee, Ben and Nobbi (the Kombi boys are still favourites). It's hard to tell what the public really thinks about Nobbi's longevity on this show. Maybe even I've got no idea what I'm talking about with my theories about Nobbi, if he's still that popular, but maybe it's because we aren't seeing enough of what Nobbi the bully is doing. The show would have us believe he'll get the boot soon (the hosts are practically telling viewers to vote him out when the opportunity arises), but the public sentiment shows differently in some places online. And even I think he'll stay for quite a while yet, despite his bullying.
Nobbi's path to FNL victory: The environmental tie-in
So, let's get on with the Friday night games. As I said here last week, the theme for this week's FNL is a superhero one. But it was slightly more than this. Back in April in the forum I gave readers an exclusive about BB being involved this weekend in some sort of a tie-in with World Environment Day on June 5th (and I suggested that FNL would be used for this). There was a really lame attempt (as you'd expect) to tie this in with the games. I was quite disappointed that a show like this didn't take the opportunity to send a strong educational message about environmental issues.
Anyway, the HMs were dressed in generic superhero outfits and Cherry stuffed a dog's toy down his pants. BB caught him out and Cherry had to give Ollie his toy back before the BB ninja took him for a few hours. BB told the HMs that the games would involve saving the world because of World Environment Day. He then told them that the double points and Strategy Room were "dead" and that the winner's voting twist remained. He told them there is six weeks to go (he has never done that before) and that winning is important now. The winner would also win a mystery prize (which turned out to be a short stay in the second house along with three other HMs).
Captains were selected by BB based on Nobbi not having had a shower so far that day and the three intruders made up the other positions. They then picked teams. These were: Nobbi, Bianca and Ben; Terrence, Terri and Travis; Rhianna, Rory and Alice; plus Cherry, Brigitte and Renee. After the ad break, the hosts started on Nobbi by discussing the lie about Alice hating Travis. Fryzie confessed that they didn't show on the daily show that Alice felt as sad as she has ever felt and the audience started expressing sympathy (the subtle start to the manipulation that the producers saw an opportunity to exploit). Bree said there'd be "no redemption" for Nobbi and Fryzie called him a rat. The audience agreed but only some of them could be seen doing so (the cheering in agreeance). By the end of the show they'd have most of the audience booing Nobbi.
Round 1: Wheelie bin obstacle course
Teams raced around a course with the first one past the line in the two heats progressing to the next round. One member of the team was in a wheelie bin containing scrap vegetables and the other two pulled the bin around the course (a nice way of twisting your back muscles). In heat one, Rory and Alice pulled Rhianna in the bin and Renee and Cherry pulled Brigitte. The course consisted of a see-saw, a round map of the earth and a small ramp at the end. Rory's team won the first heat. In the bins for heat two were Bianca and Terrence with a huge carrot in his mouth (a choking hazard if he hit the ground face first). Nobbi, Bianca and Ben won.
Round 2: Flying recycling (not a very imaginative name from BB but whatever)
The two remaining teams just had to recycle as much rubbish as possible within the 2 minute time limit - while one was flying on a harness over the map of the planet and the other two, standing either side, were throwing rolled paper, plastic bottles, large cans and fruit and vegetables up to them on each pass. Plastics, paper and cans were to be thrown in one bin and fruit and veggies in the other. The team with the most rubbish in their correct bins would progress to the next round.
So the BB ninja used the rope he was holding to swing Rhianna around the map platform past Rory and Alice. Rhianna started catching the rubbish the others threw up to her. She dropped plenty and got half in the bins and missed about half. The team's total score at the end was 4 correct items in the blue bin and 4 in the green bin giving 8 items. After the ad break and Dixie joining the hosts, Nobbi then encouraged the others in his team to throw a few items up at a time so he could dump more in the bins. It worked and they scored 8 in the blue bin and 4 in the green bin for a total of 12. They progressed to the next round. One member of the other team had to join them, though, to even up the numbers.
Clark Kent challenge
The other team competed against each other for one spot back in the games. There was a phone booth with suits hanging inside. All they each had to do was squash themselves inside the booth and dress in the pants (done up as a rule), the shirt (with one button done up as a rule), the tie (had to be around their neck, not over their shoulder or something) and the glasses. The first one to run outside and kiss the Lois Lane mannequin was the winner. Alice had the right idea by getting lower down around everyone's legs to dress where there was more space, while Rory was shoving everyone else out the way. Alice won.
Round 3: Murder in the bark
Nobbi and Ben formed a team and Alice and Bianca formed the other. The gals went first in a competition of lumberjack against tree (a most unfriendly environmental theme that sends the wrong message). Bianca held a noisy chainsaw (a fake one) and she was blindfolded. She had to listen for the squeaky shoes worn by Alice dressed in a tree costume (a similar game to ones played in previous years). Alice just had to avoid Bianca. If Bianca tagged Alice within 1 minute she would progress to the next round. The same applied for the guys when they had their turn. The result was success for Bianca and Nobbi.
Round 4: Ozone slayer
Bianca and Nobbi stood on the map platform and they were holding shields. Bianca held a red one and Nobbi held a blue one. The BB ninjas threw red and blue soft balls at them. The two HMs had to knock as many of their opponent's balls out of the area as they could to win (i.e. the person with the most of their coloured balls on the game platform within the 1.5 minute time limit won). The balls represented meteors but the BB ninjas had silver "space" balls as well to confuse them.
Nobbi won with a lot more balls. He was booed by the audience after they initially cheered (indicating that someone waved to them to boo instead). Mike was heard to say that this was the first time a HM was ever booed on FNL, but we all know the wankers told the audience to do it. After the ad break, Nobbi collected his tickets to the other house. He chose to take Rory and Ben because they're closest to him and Bianca because she hasn't been there and could go tonight. Next week's FNL is a Friday the 13th theme.

Bianca, Renee, Terri, Brigitte nominated, plus Big Mouth summary and BB to return in 09!
June 3rd, 2008 at 12:45am, EST, by Ridge Rogue
Big Mouth and eviction nominations
Here's a bit of a summary of the Big Mouth show for those that missed it (plus some eviction nominations discussion).
Big Mouth started with Chrissie, Tim, Nathan, Tony and Rebecca talking about the shock to the HMs of the intruders. But that quickly moved to Bianca and Renee fighting about Bianca's boobs (and they just about had a fist fight - I loved seeing Bianca lose it). Then they switched back to the intruders again and bagged the crap out of them - before showing full frontal nudity of Terrence, unfortunately (still no female nudity this series, which probably explains the poor ratings for Big Mouth).
After the first ad break, Tony had a chat to the HMs for a bit. He asked Travis how he was and then wanted to see what Brigitte thought about having to older HMs there (Terri and Terrence). Then the panel chatted to Dixie for a while. The main topic was Dixie's outrage by Ben's arrogance about never being involved with people in reality that are in the house now with him.
Then, believe it or not, they had Leon Nacson, the dream coach, on the panel. He analysed footage where dreams were recounted by Nobbi (who apparently wants to be BB); Bianca (who wants friends but doesn't want to expose herself much to them); Brigitte (wants fame but thinks she's not talented enough) and Travis (parents are scared he'll change after BB).
There was some footage of how little the younguns know and then Nathan said he had worked out that Travis reminded him of Screech in 'Saved By The Bell' - and he is absolutely spot on, now that I think of it, because the two even look like each other as well as sort of sound the same.
To close the show, there was a reminder from the nominations highlights that Bianca, Renee, Terri, Brigitte are the eviction nominees this week. Nobbi's excuse for voting for Terri, for example, was that he likes "having her in the house but nup ..." (that's all that was shown - great reason, hey?). Personally, I think it's time to go ... Brigitte!
Surely the ditz will go? But my prediction is that Bianca will get the boot because the public doesn't like her and we all know that the beauty with the big boobs gets the boot quickly. Bugger!
The voting was: Alice: 6; Brigitte: 6; Bianca: 4; Renee: 3; Terri: 3; Ben: 2; Nobbi: 2; Travis: 1; Rory: 0. What the HMs didn't know was that Dixie's hand grenade was to save Alice, meaning that Terri dropped into the list of eviction nominees.
By the way, the task this week for the HMs is to ignore the out-of-the-ordinary in the house. These are objects planted by BB that don't belong there.
BB09 confirmed (again)!
It was mentioned a few weeks ago in the forum that I found out that Ten was at one stage looking at resting BB in 2009 but has instead decided to go with it again after making more changes (including allowing Tony and Rebecca to move on). Ten is pleased enough with the ratings for the show to continue next year.
This wasn't exactly huge news until other sites caught wind of the topic since then (and even media advertising experts believe the show will return, according to recent articles at the online versions of newspapers). So have no doubt that at this stage there are plans for the show to return and BB Chaos is planning accordingly and will continue to expand in preparation for a BB09 series.
Although there will be more fiction stories about BB's demise on newspaper and other "news" sites over the next three or four months until Ten is ready to comment more about BB09, Ten will be mentioning more about BB09 a bit later in the year. I'm perfectly confident that it will be back, regardless of any negative sentiment by the public during the off-season.
Dixie evicted, voting changes!
June 2nd, 2008 at 12:25am, EST, by Ridge Rogue
This update is a summary of the eviction show last night. There was a short daily show this time. It mostly revolved around Travis's eye incident. Nobbi also entered the house when he is not supposed to and pulled a prank on Rory. He then couldn't shut he Kombi door upon his return and could be heard saying a swear word (censoring was absent in the early timeslot).
On the combined eviction and intruder show, the lovely Jackie O was looking beautiful, and there was this guy called Mike there as well (see update below). They had a chat to the HMs about Travis, who is in lockdown for a few days, and the HMs then watched a video message from him. The hosts then introduced Rhianna via a video bio and then talked to her on stage.
While she waited to go in, BB announced to the HMs that Bianca, Dixie and Alice were in the bottom three in the voting. Renee soon had her chance to save someone before the HMs voted. She chose Alice because it was her birthday. That meant that Nobbi dropped into the bottom three people.
Voting to save now
Voting by the HMs then began and as usual they were giving the dumbest of reasons. Thankfully, (as Jackie announced at the end of the show) the producers have listened to exactly what fans like me have recently said (that nominations should be pre-recorded and whacked on the end of a daily show - which they are doing on Monday). That's exactly what I said they should do and I think it's great. Viewers then get to vote to evict from now on, instead of voting to save, of course.
Dixie out, intruders in
Terrence, the next intruder, was introduced and oh God this guy seems like he's a total wanker. He's into meditation but seems about as relaxed as a bull in a chinaware shop. While he waited to enter the house, the voting continued and it was tied at one stage between Dixie and Bianca. Travis voted from the extremely unbearable conditions of lockdown :)
Cherry was introduced and the hosts chatted to him. He swears his name is real. While he waited to go into the house, BB announced that Dixie was the evictee. When she soon turned up on stage, she scoffed into a fast food sponsor's meal provided by the hosts (Dixie craved it), and watched a recording of Renee giving Nobbi her 4 points (an obvious strategic vote because she knew no one else would've voted for him much) and 2 points to Bianca.
She was asked why she thought the HMs were all wankers (if Gretel was still hosting, I can't imagine her ever saying that word like Jackie did) and who had the dirtiest clothes (Rory). She was given a vacation to India and quickly shoved off the stage so the show could move to the intruders. BB asked all the HMs to sit on the lounge and then asked all male HMs to go outside. Alice worked out straight away that it was a female intruder coming in and she was right. Rhianna entered the house while the rollerdoor was down so the other female HMs couldn't see her (although they could through the gaps).
Then Cherry was introduced to the female HMs and the two groups were all reunited. Soon after, Terri was called to the Diary Room and Terrence was introduced to her (he teased her about being old - a year older). She thought it was great to have him there and the two then went out to see the other HMs. Brigitte screwed up her face with her eyes popping out of her head because she couldn't believe there was another "old fart" in the house. And after they all mingled, the viewers were told about the new voting method and that, on Monday, Tony and Rebecca would be chatting to the HMs about nominations. And that was the eviction/intruder show.
Pre-eviction points and Katie (BB6) update
June 1st, 2008 at 5:25pm, EST, by Ridge Rogue
Pre-eviction update
I neglected to mention the situation with Travis in my last update. I wanted to wait and see what happened after he was squirted in the eye with hair shampoo or something. As it turned out, he was taken to hospital and stayed there overnight (according to BB). This series has most definitelty turned out to be a total disaster this year in so many ways, and this is just another example. You'd think there'd be a rule in the HM rulebook to ensure they don't treat each other like this.
Anyway, I noticed today that the people at Mike Goldman's Yahoo group were talking about how great it is that Mike finally gets a shot at hosting (he wrote about it this morning at http://blogs.news.com.au/couriermail/arts/index.php). I wonder how long it will take for critics at other sites to start bagging him in this role like they do with other hosts? Mike says that King Kyle has Bronchitis but I have doubts. Anyway, if it's true, get well and hurry back, Kyle!
While I was at the Yahoo group, I read that the HMs have passed the task and get to keep Ollie. Obviously this was on the OS as well. I'm not sure that it really is a good idea for them to keep the dog. We all know that they don't want him there and that BB is just exploiting him for ratings. I don't think that's wise.
Katie's plans for this year
Katie (BB6) has posted again our forum. She says she hopes to do OH&S work in the WA mines this year. She has also talked about the JamKat relationship and also another romance and work since BB6. Several HMs have come to BB Chaos before to promote upcoming work and to keep us updated and it is always appreciated. Thanks Katie!
Continues back to weeks 4 and 5 diary page.
