On this page, BB Chaos would like to present to you the Dutch Big Brother host. There is some information about her and then some photos.

Bridget Maasland

Born on 9 November 1974, Bridget Maasland was a famous model in her twenties. She travelled around Europe to work and in the 1990s returned home to The Netherlands to become a dancer and music video television presenter. She went on to become a producer as well as being a television host. When she left the music video show job, she went to work for BNN where she hosted shows like 'The National IQ Test' and, in 2003, a sex education show called 'Neuken Doe Je Zo' (ie: 'This Is How You F**k', as we would say here in Oz). When the series finished it did not screen again, because wowsers, who do not mind prostitution in Holland, could not handle nudity on television, strangely.

Not to worry though, because when John De Mol brought Big Brother back to The Netherlands (its home) in 2005, to air on his TV station, Talpa, Bridget was hired to be the host. Talpa targets a young audience but in April 2006 Bridget "forgot" about that to get her gear off for a magazine (as many BB hosts in Europe seem to have done). She hosted Big Brother 5 and 6. Unfortunately, series 6 was a flop (it was a connected couples series) and is not set to return in any hurry.

Bridget's contract status with Talpa can be deduced by looking at the shirt she wore in public to make her opinion known in February 2007. (It said: "F**k Takpa") She is now concentrating on her charity work (about dogs) and looking at producing a show through her production company Haagsebluf.
